Karlsruhe makers stamp on the top leather rear section and repeated on one shoulder strap; the opposite strap appears to be a replacement. Regimentally marked in red J. R 88, which is the 2nd Nassau Infantry Regiment No. 88. Original soldiers name Deckelburg applied in backing on the reverse canvas. Some rodent wear inside, missing its ammunition cartridge clips and one pack ring. Some original
