Good condition with overall even wear and intact ends and edges

Ivory trailing vine main border within pale apricot and dark blue floral guards

Roshan runner late 19th or early 20thA 1930s Qashgai gabbeh rug from Fars in south west Persia. Dark red field with a kaleidoscope of hooked and other medallions; dark brown and pale blue twin borders within red, apricot and brown guards; blue and white brocaded top end; brown and white brocading and striped flat weave with plaited goathair tassels at the lower end. Very slight wear, soft handle. Medium pile, wool foundation. A lovely tribal piece with a glorious disregard for symmetry
