'Acer Leaf in Autumn' by Andy Walters lighting 1954 in excellent conditionThis richly textural painting depicts an Acer leaf found in Andy's Clifton (Bristol) courtyard, where the work began its life before completion in his Stokes Croft studio later on in autumn 2021. The vivid red and rich texture result from a lengthy process of painting layer on layer over a two week stretch.
