I found records of performing back to the 1880s

and is in excellent antique condition

with what looks like a bullet

so I believe that tarnish/haze is most probable

The man has a rifle and the woman is holding a bow an arrow

Dimensions of the locket are about 2 1 4" x 1 1 2" including the loop. The woman's case is about 2" x 1 3 4" when closed. Locket covers are separated, the velvet case is in VG complete condition with light wear to the velvet. 7827G
